Daniel McCranie, Vice-President
Mr. McCranie serves as the vice-president and lead design
engineer for McCranie & Associates, Inc. He provides
project management, design and quality assurance services
for the delivery of professional services for drainage, site
design, and transportation projects in Florida.
Mr. McCranie has 20 years of experience in all phases of
civil engineering for both private and public sector
clients. His expertise includes design and permitting of
minor rural roadway paving projects; pond siting reports for
local and state roadway projects; project development and
environment (PD&E) studies; water and sewer design;
drainage improvement projects; and commercial site and
residential development planning, design and permitting. As
project manager/design engineer, he has successfully
managed/designed many projects for Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT), Nassau County, Jacksonville
Transportation Authority (JTA), Daytona State College and
many private clients. He has been responsible for
permitting projects through agencies including local
municipalities, Water Management Districts, the Department
of Transportation, Department of Environmental Protection,
Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Environmental Health
and CSX Railroad. Mr. McCranie is also the district
engineer for several Community Development Districts,
including Amelia Walk CDD and Amelia Concourse CDD.
Mr. McCranie is Certified in Advanced
Work Zone Traffic Control and Specifications Package
creation and submittal. He is also trained in the use of the
latest Highway Safety Manual.

Bill Taylor, Transportation Planner
Mr. Taylor serves as a transportation planner for McCranie & Associates, Inc.
He provides transportation data collection, transportation modeling, site impact analysis,
concurrency management, impact/mobility fee studies, traffic signal design, signing and
marking plans and site design in northeast Florida. Mr. Taylor over 30 years of experience
in all phases of transportation planning for both private and public sector clients.
He is a Senior Engineering Technician, responsible for preparation of transportation
planning reports, signal design and transportation modeling for: Transportation, Site,
and Intersection Improvement Projects.
